Our Roots
Midtown Motors is a third generation family-owned business. The company was established in 1938 by Max Antony on the main street in Ingersoll, Ontario Canada.
In 1944 Max’s son, Abe Antony, became involved in the retail operation. Abe grew
the business through both wholesale and retail markets and in the late 1980’s was a pioneer in vehicle export to the United States. Midtown moved from its original location to its current five acre facility in the fall of 1989.
In 1991, Abe’s son Paul decided to immerse himself into the automotive business with a focus on re-marketing Canadian vehicles to dealers in the United States. Midtown Motors became one of Canada’s largest volume dealers and remains today, as an expert and leader in vehicle import and export for the wholesale market.
Our staff has a combined experience of well over 100 years in the automotive business. As a direct result of our reputation, network, and commitment to excellence, we have the ability to offer our dealers the best product at the best possible price.
